FAQ

How can we help?

How can I register for the Skill Development Platform?

You can register for a skill on the Skill Development Platform by going to https://skills.psprinciples.com and using an email account that is connected to a Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn authentication. Once authenticated you will be able to select your first skill and be able to work on the first 3 skill steps before being asked to pay for the remaining program.

How are Certifications Earned?

PS Principles certifications are not earned solely by passing an exam. They are earned by attempting to put the content into practice and providing us with evidence of that attempt. In both our public and corporate accounts you have the ability to also receive feedback from your manager about these activities so that you can complete the learning cycle. Our process is designed to develop real skills by having you learn something, do something and then get feedback so that you can get better over time.

How are Certifications earned and Validated?

Our certifications are unique in that they are awarded based on EXPERIENCE rather than regurgitating knowledge. While some skills have exams in their rudimentary levels, each level of skill requires individuals to complete real-world experiences. Once earned, a certificate is awarded to you that can be printed as well as being validated on line with a link that you can share. We provide two different types of links for each certification, one that can be shared publicly and one that can be shared privately. The privately shared link is different than the one shared publicly to prevent others from copying it from social media posts that you may have used to celebrate it. This helps employers know that this was indeed your certification.

Is the Skill Development Platform just a Learning Platform?

No, the Skill Development Platform is designed to provide both structured and unstructured knowledge. Our deep knowledge in subject specific matters (such as consulting, project management, support, customer success, etc.) is coupled with our other knowledge around soft skills (such as communication skills, empathy, emotional quotient). We provide access to this vast information through our AI interface which enables you to ask direct questions to the database like, "How can I tell my customer that I'm not available to work weekends?" The AI interface will combine all of the knowledge we have on this topic and provide you with guidance on the best approach to tackling this situation. As AI technology improves we plan to add even greater features to our platform such as role playing and scenario analysis.

Can you train my entire team?

Yes! Training teams of any size is our specialty. We believe that consistent and profitable service delivery can only be achieved when a professional services team believes in its core mission and responsibilities. Our approach is to ensure that the entire team engages in the learning we provide and individual participation can be monitored at scale.

Can I reclaim my corporate training account and progress?

Reclaim

Yes! Reclaiming your corporate account can be completely automated if you provided us with a back up email during the process. BACK UP EMAIL ON FILE If you provided a back up email for account recovery, then all you need is your old work email address and the PIN you should already have received to your personal account. Then go to https://skills.psprinciples.com and attempt to login using your original work email. This will trigger a process to migrate you once you validate your identity with the PIN that was emailed to you. You can also request a new PIN. Once your PIN is validated and you enter a new email address that can be authenticated via social login, we will transfer you to the public program and maintain all of your progress and once again be able to access all of the programs content, skill steps and AI capabilities. NO BACK UP EMAIL If you did not provide a back up email then you can send an email to support@psprinciples.com and provide the following information... - Your old corporate email address (your previous SDP login) - Your manager's name or SDP Number (visible on certificates) - Your new email (authenticated via Google, Microsoft or LinkedIn) - A link to your LinkedIn profile Once we validate your identity we will set up your account so that you can complete the process above.
